About
Amanda graduated from Hunter College in New York with a double major in art history and sociology. She has worked in art education and non-profit administration for the past several years. Her love of photography began in 1999, when she was given a camera as a gift. She began studying photography books and experimenting. It quickly went from an interest to a passion. Her photographs capture a broad range of subjects, from the intrigue of discarded objects to the simplicity of nature. Through her photographs, she mainly explores modern decay and its “psychic leftovers.”
